OPPO has made significant improvements to its ColorOS software in recent years. Aiming to enhance user experience with the new update, the company has been developing ColorOS 15 for some time. According to an announcement on the social media platform Weibo, ColorOS 15 will be released at the OPPO Developer Conference in China on October 17.
The new update will first be rolled out across China and then become available to devices in the global market. Based on previous leaks, the update is expected to introduce several new features. These include a Control Center similar to iOS, a Dynamic Island-like feature, and improved animations.
Additionally, the centrally placed “Fluid Cloud” feature will be able to display more information and offer a more optimized user experience for touch interactions. Beta testing for ColorOS 15 on the OPPO Find X7 series and OnePlus 12 devices began recently, with 900 participants selected from users of these devices.
