OPPO’s new model, the K13x, has emerged ahead of its launch at the end of the month. It has been confirmed that the K13x has a more modern look, especially with its thin frames, and will be released with 5G support. The K13x comes as a direct successor to the previous member of the series, the K12x. OPPO’s promotional language reveals that this model promises the user a long-term and trouble-free experience. The emphasis on battery capacity and durability in particular reveals the company’s goal of differentiating in the entry segment with this model.
The price is expected to be around $ 180. This figure is positioned at a similar level to the K12x. This shows that OPPO is following a strategy aimed at users who especially care about price-performance balance.
There is no big leap in terms of technical details. According to the data seen on the Google Play Console, the K13x, like its predecessor, works with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. On the memory side, a version with 4 GB RAM has been confirmed. No major changes are expected on the screen side either; it is expected that the HD+ resolution LCD panel will be preserved.
The most prominent feature of the model is the battery. It is stated that the 7,000 mAh capacity silicon carbon battery in the K13 model, which OPPO recently launched, will also be included in the K13x. This battery technology is known for providing longer life, less heating and more stable performance compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries.
