Oppo announced its new phones, Reno8 T and Reno8 T 5G, in a quiet environment. While the devices are now available on the Vietnamese version of the company’s website, online sellers started to offer the devices with their pricing lists. Oppo Reno8 T comes with Helio G99 chipset
The new Android smartphone comes with a Helio G99 chipset, which features 2x Arm Cortex-A76 up to 2.2GHz and 6x Arm Cortex-A55 up to 2.0GHz. While the device has the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, it has only one memory option, 8GB of LPDRR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The new Reno8 T also offers a microSD slot for extra storage, and the brand also offers some RAM Expansion options.
On the display, the new Reno comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Also, the Reno8 T has up to 180Hz touch sampling rate and a Gorilla Glass for screen protection. In terms of battery, Oppo offers a 5,000mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging support. While the battery rate is not clear, we can assume that it will be at least 33W.
The new midrange smartphone features a 100-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro cam on the back, three cameras in total. There is a ring light next to the main camera, the ring light can also act as a notification light and it is customizable. On the front, the device features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Oppo Reno8 T is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom, a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, and it runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13.
