Best sellers of the PC market in 2022 – Top 5
According to the US-based market research company IDC, the severe shrinkage in the global PC market continues at full speed. In the Q2 of 2022, there was a decrease of 15.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Also, not a single company has grown.
When we look at the best sellers of the PC market, Lenovo comes first. The Chinese company took the top spot with 17.5 million sales. They also took 24.6 percent of the market. But they sold 12.1 percent fewer products compared to last year.
In this process, the company whose sales decreased by a record number was HP. The US-based company sold 27.6 percent fewer devices compared to the previous year. However, they are the 2nd best-selling company in the PC industry with 13.5 million shipments and an 18.9 percent market share.
When we look at the 3rd place, another US-based company Dell comes after HP. The company sold 13.2 million units in Q2 2022 and has an 18.5 percent market share. Compared to the previous year, they shrank only 5.3 percent.
