There is an application that brings the basis of ChatGPT, the “GPT” language model, to Apple Watch smartwatch models. Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT is based on a language model called GPT. Taking this language model, developer Hidde van de Ploeg created and launched an Apple Watch application called “Petey – AI Assistant”. The paid app, which can be purchased from the App Store, only works on Apple Watches running watchOS 9 and higher operating system versions.
Petey – AI Assistant will only work on watchOS 9 and higher operating systems
You can control the Petey app either in text or voice. The app transcribes what you say through the “dictation” feature of the watches. So it can provide you with written information on almost any subject you want. You can also have this information audible if you want. For example, you can ask the system “How can I cook a lasagna in the best way?” and get detailed answers within seconds.
Petey is currently under active development and requires an internet connection. Petey allows you to share its answers with others. It also supports quick access via the home screen of Apple Watches. The application supports 14 different languages for now, but it is stated that this will be increased over time.
By the way, as you know, GPT-4 was recently released. The chatbot, which has been based on GPT-3.5 so far, will become more capable on the basis of GPT-4 from now on. Until now, ChatGPT has only been an option to interact on a text-based basis. This will now change. Because the new version of GPT opens the door to new types of content created by artificial intelligence.
According to the company, the new infrastructure, which is much more powerful than GPT-3.5, can handle more creative and complex problems with a higher level of accuracy than ever before. OpenAI says they are using more human feedback, including feedback from ChatGPT, to make GPT-4 more accurate and reliable. On the ChatGPT side, GPT-4, which was first tested on ChatGPT Plus, has also been on the basis of the Bing chatbot for some time.
