Made by Google, one of the biggest technological events organized by Google annually, will be held earlier than usual this year. Recently, with announcements and invitations sent by Google, it has been confirmed that the event will start on Tuesday, August 13th at 20:00 GMT. What else will be announced at the launch event expected to feature the Pixel 9 series and more? Here are details about the Made by Google event…
Made by Google event could bring more AI features
The highlight of the Made by Google event each year is typically the Pixel series. This year, the tech giant is gearing up to unveil the Pixel 9 series, which may include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and possibly the Pixel 9 Pro Fold models. While there hasn’t been an official announcement yet for the XL and Fold models, leaks suggest that instead of the Pixel Fold 2, we might see a new foldable phone named Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
While details about the phones are scarce, Google is expected to introduce its new Tensor processor this year, with the Pixel 9 series likely powered by the Tensor G4 chip. However, the foldable phone rumored as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold might come with a different processor.
In addition to Pixel phones, the Google Pixel Watch 3 is also anticipated. It’s rumored to come in two models: a standard 41mm version and a larger XL version with a new 45mm screen, making the Pixel Watch 3 series quite intriguing.
The event is not only expected to focus on hardware but also bring software advancements. The Android 15 operating system, which had a developer preview released in March, could unveil more features during the event on August 13th. Given the slogan ‘Get Ready for Magic at Made by Google’ seen in the initial teaser, we might also see improvements in Assistant applications or new features enhanced with AI.
