Google Pixel Watch sensors and more

When Google announced the Pixel Watch, it made a great impression on the market because the watch comes with the Wear OS. The device has many features and sensors from Fitbit because Fitbit is also a company of Google. The Google Pixel Watch packs eight different sensors, while four of them are health-based, the rest are for general watch use.

Health Sensors

The wearable device comes with four main health sensors. While three sensors help collect data about your heart rate, sleep quality and time, and step count., one of the health sensors lets you check your stress levels and how many calories you’ve burned during the day. The watch has Optical Heart Rate Sensor, Multipurpose Electrical Sensor, Accelerometer, and Blood Oxygen Sensor in terms of health.

Thanks to the Multipurpose Electrical sensor, you can see your ECG (electrocardiogram) results. However, this feature on the Pixel Watch is only available in select regions. In addition, the Blood Oxygen sensor calculates the oxygen saturation in your blood via the lights on the watch. It gives you details about how much oxygen is in your blood.

Function-based sensors

The Pixel Watch also comes with four more sensors that can be used in general. There are Compass, Altimeter, Gyroscope, and Ambient Light sensor on the Watch. You can use the compass to find your way, and the altimeter to measure your height.
