PlayStation has announced that its new console, the PS5 Pro, will be released on November 7th and will be priced at $699.99 in the US and €799 in Europe. So what are the features of the new console? Are they worth the price increase or good enough to make existing PS 5 users consider buying them?

The PS5 Pro comes with a GPU that has 67 percent more processing units than the original PS5. This hardware will speed up graphics rendering times in games by 45 percent. In addition, advanced ray tracing technology will make light reflections and refractions more dynamic and realistic. The AI-powered PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution technology will maximize visual clarity in games, making details more visible.
PS5 Pro supports over 8,500 PS4 games with backward compatibility and performance improvements for these games. Major titles like “Alan Wake 2,” “Hogwarts Legacy,” and “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” will also feature enhanced graphics features specifically for PS5 Pro.
The new console supports the latest wireless technology, Wi-Fi 7, enabling gaming at 8K resolution. It will also be fully compatible with PlayStation VR2 and other existing PS5 accessories. 2TB SSD storage, the DualSense wireless controller and Astro’s Playroom will come pre-installed with every PS5 Pro.
