Sony has announced important features for the new PlayStation VR2. Although the company has not announced an exact price and release date, it continues to provide information about the device. The features found on the new device are live streaming support and cinematic mode.
Cinematic mode and live streaming support
The company also explained how it would handle non-VR content. The PlayStation VR2 headset will offer a 1080p “Cinematic Mode” that displays the PS5 interface and conventional games on a virtual screen at refresh rates between 24Hz and 120Hz. Native VR content displays at 4,000 x 2040 with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
The header will also have live streaming support. This will require an external PS5 HD camera. People who buy this camera can live stream themselves, and the game footage lives. The device will also allow you to look at the room without removing the hood. In this way, aiming to prevent many accidents, Sony will also allow people to determine a special playground. At the extreme points of this area, the user will be warned visually and audibly against the risks of crashing/falling. Sony offers a 110-degree viewing angle with the hood.
