Poco is preparing to add a new model to the F series in the first half of 2024 with the rumored Poco F6 Pro. The device, model number 23113RKC6G, recently received certification from Thailand. This shows that it will be released soon.
When will the Poco F6 Pro be released?
Certification from regulatory bodies usually happens a few months before a phone’s official announcement. Given Poco’s past launch timelines, the F6 Pro is expected to launch between April and May. The Poco X6 Pro and X6 were certified in November/December and unveiled in January.
Speculation is rife that the Poco F6 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70. Assuming the renaming is real, the F6 Pro will have some notable features such as a 6.65-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor produced by Qualcomm, the device has up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 type RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage options. On the other hand, the phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery powered by 120W fast charging.
The connectivity features of the smartphone, which runs on Android 14-based HyperOS and includes a fingerprint reader, are 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4.
The starting price of Redmi K70 was around 350 dollars. It is possible to say that Poco F6 Pro will be offered with a similar pricing.
