POCO is preparing for a major global launch on November 26th. Alongside its new flagship phones, the POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra, the company will also officially unveil its highly anticipated first tablet, the POCO Pad X1. POCO has been releasing teasers over the past few days, confirming the device’s key features ahead of the event.
Powerful Core and Stunning Display
The POCO Pad X1 will be unveiled on November 26th at 7:00 PM CEST (4:00 PM GMT+8). The tablet will be available in Gray and Blue. The rear features a square camera module with a 13MP main camera and LED flash. The side panels feature a power button, speaker grilles, and an additional physical button.
POCO has confirmed that the Pad X1 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. In addition to this powerful processor, the tablet will also feature a 3.2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. POCO describes this display as “crystal clear” and states that it will offer Dolby Vision Atmos support.
The Pad X1 was previously spotted on Geekbench. The listing indicated the tablet would run Android 15 and have an 8GB RAM variant. The test results matched the performance expected from the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip.
Industry reports suggest that the POCO Pad X1 is likely a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Pad 7. If this claim is true, the device’s final hardware will share similar specifications to Xiaomi’s tablet:
- Display: 11.2-inch LCD panel, 3.2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, Nano Texture Display, anti-glare and anti-reflective properties. 3:2 aspect ratio, TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, HDR 10, and Dolby Vision support.
- Design and Hardware: Metal unibody. Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, 12GB of RAM, and storage options up to 256GB.
- Battery: 8,850 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
- Camera: 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera.
- Software: Expected to run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 and offer features such as AI-Powered Text Writing, AI Live Captions, and Xiaomi Creations.
- Other Features: 6.18 mm thin, 499 grams in weight, IP52 rating, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, Workstation Mode, Focus Keyboard support, and a quad-speaker system.
The POCO Pad X1, with its high-resolution display and powerful chipset, could shift the balance of power in the tablet market with its competitive price.
