Vivo has completed the development of its new models designed for the mid-range market. The technical specifications of the Vivo Y36 5G, which focuses on price/performance, have emerged. Here are the details:

Vivo will introduce the Y36 series with both 4G and 5G variants. The 5G variant is said to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. The processor, manufactured with 7nm technology, consists of 2x 2.27 GHz ARM Cortex-A76 cores and 6x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The processor also comes with the Mali-G57 MC2 graphics interface.
Both devices are expected to have the same display features. Vivo will feature a 6.64-inch Full HD Plus IPS display in the Y36 series.
The device is said to be introduced with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with microSD card support. It’s worth noting that the Vivo Y36 series will also have the virtual RAM support of 8GB, which is commonly seen in mid-range devices.
The models to be introduced with a dual camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. As for the front-facing camera, it will feature a 16-megapixel lens.
The Vivo Y36 5G model will be released in the European market with a price tag of 227 euros. According to leaked information, the device will come with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 44W FlashCharge technology. Additionally, it is speculated that the devices will come out of the box with Android 13.
