Sony is preparing to launch the PlayStation 5 Pro. The new console will come with significant performance improvements over the current PS5 model. According to information from developers and industry analysts, the PS5 Pro model is very close to launch and this powerful gaming console will come with major improvements, especially in graphics processing, ray tracing, and machine learning performance.
Sony PS5 Pro is coming much more powerful! It could be introduced in September
One of the most striking features of the PS5 Pro is the 45% increase in graphics processing capacity. This improvement is made possible by a larger GPU and faster memory, and promises smoother and faster performance, especially in large games. Ray tracing performance is also significantly increased; the new ray tracing architecture increases the speed of this technology by 2-3 times, and in some cases, it can even go up to 4 times. In other words, we expect more realistic and detailed lighting effects.
The PS5 Pro is also taking a big step in the field of machine learning. Equipped with a special machine learning architecture, the new console will be able to effectively use Sony’s PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology, offering support for up to 300 TOPS for 8-bit operations. We will see higher resolution and sharper images in games.
The PS5 Pro’s official launch date hasn’t been announced yet, but reports suggest it could follow in the footsteps of the PS4 Pro, with a September reveal and a November release. So what do you think about the new features the next-gen console will bring? Do these performance improvements live up to your expectations? Don’t forget to share your comments!
