The iPhone 15 series is now less than a month away. Many leaks about the series have emerged so far. As the launch date approaches, new rumors continue to emerge. In recent days, many different information about the RAM capacity of the series has come to light.
iPhone 15 Pro may come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options
Important sources have confirmed that the standard models in the iPhone 15 series will use A16 Bionic, while the Pro models will use A17 Bionic. As it is known, Apple has been using 6 GB RAM since the iPhone 12 Pro. However, there is an environment of uncertainty about RAM capacity in recent days.
First, it was stated that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will use A17 Bionic, will have 8 GB RAM. This upgrade will not happen and the models will be paired with 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM, according to an information that emerged a few days ago.
But today, according to the latest claim made by Unknownz21, the Pro Max models were tested with both 6GB and 8GB of RAM. It’s not clear what this means, but it’s likely that the devices will offer a RAM option based on storage size.
The expected storage options of iPhone 15 Pro models are as follows;
- 256 GB
- 512 GB
- 1 TB
- 2 TB
In the past days, it was revealed about storage options. It seems that the series will also receive some upgrades on the storage side. The highest storage of the iPhone 14 series was 1 TB. According to the information, this value will be updated to 2 TB.
