Realme has launched two new mid-range smartphones, the 12 Plus and 12 Pro Plus. The Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G completes the 12 Plus lineup, although it has already been launched in other markets.
What do Realme 12 Plus and Pro Plus offer?
The Realme 12 Plus 5G was developed in collaboration with luxury watch designer Ollivier Savéo. Accordingly, the smartphone features a vegan leather finish with gold bezels. It comes with a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Let us remind you that it comes out of the box with Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
On the camera side, 12 Plus 5G has a 50 Megapixel main camera, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide lens and 2 Megapixel macro sensor. It comes with a 16 Megapixel front camera for selfies. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It has a starting price of 254 dollars.
The 12 Pro Plus comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The triple rear camera system consists of a 50 Megapixel main, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide and 64 Megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Both phones run on Realme UI 14 based on Android 5 and will receive two OS and three years of security updates. Priced between 356-419 dollars.
