Realme 12 Pro+ will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC
The latest certifications reveal that Realme’s upcoming smartphones will have mid-range specifications. While the Realme 12 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which has similar performance as the Dimensity 7050 SoC in the Realme 11 Pro, the Pro+ model is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro.
Based on the rumors, we can say that both devices will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display. Also, they will have 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage options. Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro series will run Android 14-based realme UI 5 out of the box.
In terms of camera, the expected smartphones will likely have a similar camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. While the 12 Pro has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 2x telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the 12 Pro+ comes with a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
