Realme Introduces “LumaColor IMAGE” Technology!

Ana sayfa / News

Realme has unveiled its biggest innovation yet in the camera field for the Realme 16 Pro series, which it announced will be launched “very soon.” This new feature, which will join other features like Master Design, is the company’s self-developed LumaColor IMAGE technology.

Developed in collaboration with TUV Rheinland, LumaColor IMAGE “highlights Realme’s ambition in portrait photography and reflects the brand’s commitment to bringing advanced mobile imaging to young users worldwide.”

Realme states that with LumaColor IMAGE, the Realme 16 Pro series will offer “the best portrait experience in its segment” and capture “more authentic and emotionally impactful portraits with natural skin tones, layered lighting, and rich atmosphere.”

Realme claims that LumaColor has an industry-first approach to light and color processing. According to the company:

“Unlike traditional methods that separate light and color—risking overexposure or color distortion—LumaColor IMAGE intelligently matches them. This results in natural and harmonious skin tones, coordinated person-scene relationships, and atmospheric light and shadow.”

The brand also added that LumaColor IMAGE features full-size skin tone optimization and that subjects stand out with an immersive feel thanks to optical depth-of-field fusion blur (bokeh). The reconstruction of person-scene light and shadow adds a layered lighting effect to the photograph’s texture.

While Realme didn’t provide details of the 16 Pro series’ camera system, it promotes the series as a “Portrait Master” and emphasizes that it will be “perfect at every zoom level.” The Realme 16 Pro series is reportedly expected to launch in early January 2026, so we can expect to learn more about the series in the coming days.
