Realme P4x 5G launches with huge battery and smooth 144 Hz display

Realme has officially launched the P4x 5G in India, and it’s going straight for the budget crown. Packed with a 7,000 mAh battery, a Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip, and a 144 Hz screen, this phone hits hard without hitting your wallet. All of it lands for under $175.

The star of the show is clearly the battery. With 7,000 mAh of capacity, the P4x 5G is built for endurance. It charges via USB-C at up to 45 watts, so refueling won’t take forever. While it skips wireless charging, the compromise is easy to accept at this price.

Realme pairs that power with a 6.72-inch IPS display. It runs at a crisp 2,400 x 1,080 resolution and reaches 1,000 nits of brightness. Thanks to the 144 Hz refresh rate, scrolling and gaming should feel smooth. A punch-hole notch houses the 8 MP selfie cam. On the back, a 50 MP main sensor handles the heavy lifting, backed by a 2 MP secondary lens.

Dream Router 5G Max: Ubiquiti’s tri-band WiFi router gets serious with 5G

Ubiquiti unveils the Dream Router 5G Max with tri-band WiFi and 5G support, including SIM, eSIM, and fiber-ready connectivity.

Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip. It includes four Cortex-A78 cores for performance and four A55 cores for efficiency. That setup should deliver solid mid-range results, especially in day-to-day apps and light games.

Out of the box, the phone runs Android 15. But Realme hasn’t promised how many updates it will get. That’s something to watch if long-term support matters to you.

The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model is priced at INR 15,499, about $172. A higher variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage goes for INR 18,999, or around $210. For now, the phone is exclusive to India. Still, past P-series models have often reached Europe, so an international release feels likely.

The P4x 5G isn’t trying to break new ground, it’s just aiming to win. With a monster battery, high refresh rate, and reliable chip, it punches above its weight. At this price, Realme isn’t playing safe. It’s playing to win.
