Record after record from Steam!

Steam has set a new record for concurrent players as of late. According to SteamDB, which tracks user statistics, more than 34.6 million users logged in to the digital store simultaneously. This marks the largest number of concurrent users of all time.

While not all of these users are actively gaming, more than 11 million users were reported to be in-game at the same time. This is just shy of the all-time high of over 11.5 million reached in January.

The increase in the number of Steam users is most likely due to new releases. In particular, the unexpected popularity of titles such as Palworld and Helldivers 2 has led players to meet on Steam.

Android 14 coming to OPPO’s 28 models this month!

OPPO has announced plans to roll out the Android 14-based ColorOS 14 update worldwide.

Palworld, the survival game released in mid-January, managed to capture more than 15 million players in just one month. Another factor seems to be the PlayStation exclusive Helldivers 2. Classic games like CS2 also continue to dominate Steam’s charts.

Valve’s own games have also seen unexpected increases. Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2, for example, had player bases of over 1.4 million and 700,000 respectively in the last 24 hours. Free-to-play titles like PUBG and Apex Legends also attracted hundreds of thousands of players.

With highly anticipated titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Homeworld 3, Hades II and more set to release later this year, Steam’s popularity is unlikely to wane.
