Red Dead Redemption coming to PC after 14 years!

Ana sayfa / Games

After more than a decade of waiting, Rockstar Games may finally be getting ready to bring Red Dead Redemption to PC. One of the cult favorites of the Western world, the game is currently only available on Xbox and PlayStation.

The PlayStation Network store listing showed Red Dead Redemption listed for PC. While that version has now been removed, Rockstar is believed to be actively working on a new version. The description on the PSN page said that players will experience the adventures of Red Dead Redemption “for the first time on PC”.

While the second game in the series is out for PC, the 14 previous installments are still exclusive to consoles. However, with the latest listing, it is possible to say that the upgraded RDR 1 is also on its way to PC. In this context, it is expected to have some versions such as the base game and Game of the Year.

In addition to single-player content, the PSN listing may also include PC-specific enhancements such as increased resolution, frame rates, multi-screen support and surround sound. Of course, it’s worth noting that games for PS4 and PS5 are available via backwards compatibility. This means that the game will be tuned specifically for PC.

This is actually not the first sign that a PC version of Red Dead Redemption is in development. Back in May, a data analyst discovered descriptions of the PC version in Rockstar Launcher files. With the PSN store leak, Rockstar Games seems to be speeding things up.

Of course, most of the work on the Rockstar side has shifted to GTA 6. However, it looks like players will be able to play John Marston’s Western adventures on PC after a decade.
