We know that Rockstar Games has been struggling with the development of GTA 6 lately. The company, which is said to be in the final stages for the new game, made a surprise move towards its old productions. The iconic action-western Red Dead Redemption will be distributed free of charge to GTA+ subscribers.
Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare free with GTA+
Rockstar Games has announced that RDR 1 and its undead-themed expansion Undead Nightmare are now available for free for GTA+ subscribers. GTA+ members with Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 can download and play the iconic game at no cost.
PlayStation users will have access to the Remastered version that was released last year. Xbox gamers will have the chance to experience the original 2010 release upscaled to 4K resolution. It should be noted that the game is not available on PC.
Red Dead Redemption’s single-player Story Mode and multiplayer modes will all be included in this bundle. GTA+ members can also get Undead Nightmare for free on Xbox consoles.
However, players will only have access to the game for as long as they have an active GTA+ subscription. It’s worth noting that the game will be removed from your library once the subscription expires.
Rockstar also announced a 20 percent discount for GTA+ members who want to buy Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare. However, it was underlined that this will be valid for a short time.
