Redfall Steam player count drops to single digits

Ana sayfa / Technology

Redfall, developed by Arkane Studios and distributed by Bethesda, has suffered major drops in player numbers since its launch in August. It was rumored to be one of Xbox’s PlayStation rivals during its launch, but in nearly three months, no one has played the game.

Redfall’s instant Steam player count is down to 6 users

According to SteamDB, Redfall has momentarily dropped to single-digit users on Steam. Currently, only 6 people are playing the game, while in the last 24 hours, a maximum of 34 people have logged in. These numbers are not even enough to fill online teams.

According to players, it is not even possible to form a four-player coop team. SteamDB data also shows that Redfall has reached single digit player numbers for the last two weeks.

However, it’s important to note that these numbers only reflect Windows players on Steam. So it doesn’t take into account those playing through Xbox Game Pass. Still, the rapidly declining player numbers prove that interest in Redfall is falling.

Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 might be Xbox-exclusive

Microsoft lawyer inadvertently mentioned in FTC court that the Elder Scrolls 6 is projected for release in 2026.

Even Xbox Head Phil Spencer has previously expressed his disappointment with Redfall. There are even rumors that the game servers will be canceled by Bethesda.

However, Bethesda Executive Pete Hines said that the company is committed to developing Redfall and compared it to Fallout 76. Let us remind you that Fallout 76 retained thousands of players even in its worst periods, while Redfall is currently unable to see double-digit numbers.
