Xiaomi has added a new model with an AMD processor to its laptop portfolio prepared for 2025. The Redmi Book 14 Ryzen Edition 2025, introduced in China, draws attention with its Ryzen 7000 series processor, thin and light design, long battery life and affordable price.

The computer weighs 1.35 kilograms and has a body that is only 15.9 mm thick. Metal hinges produced with CNC processing technology increase the durability of the device while also keeping portability at the forefront.
The 14-inch screen offers 1920×1200 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut. The panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate provides sufficient image performance for content consumption and basic productivity tasks.
On the hardware side, two different processor options are offered. While the Ryzen 5 7535H targets mid-level users with its 6-core structure; Ryzen 7 7735H appeals to those looking for performance with its 8 cores and frequency of up to 4.75 GHz.
Both models include 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MT/s and a 512 GB SSD. There is also an M.2 slot that can be used when the storage capacity is wanted to be increased. The cooling system of the device is supported by dual fans and two 8 mm thick heat pipes.
On the energy side, there is a 56 Wh battery. While fast charging is offered with the 68W USB-C adapter that comes in the box, it is stated that the device offers up to 20 hours of battery life. On the connection side, there are dual USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one USB-A 2.0, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The device, which was initially released only with the Chinese version, was offered for sale in China with different price options. The campaign price of the Ryzen 5 7535H processor model was announced as approximately $344. The Ryzen 7 7735H processor model has a price of approximately $411.
