Redmi Note 12 Turbo is powered by a recently announced Snapdragon chipset
One of the most distinctive features of the 12 Turbo is its chipset. The company launched the new phone with the recently announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, and it is a first for the Note 12 series. Additionally, the phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage options. A significant feature of the Note 12 Turbo is the 3725mm vapor cooling chamber for heat dissipation.
On the display, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo features a 6.67-inch screen with a 12-bit flexible OLED FHD+ panel. Also, the display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. There is a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
In terms of camera, the phone has three camera systems, including a 64-megapixel main lens with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back. The Note 12 Turbo comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera on the front. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and it runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo costs CNY 1,999 ($290) for the 8GB/256GB model, CNY 2,099 ($305) for the 12GB/256GB version, and CNY 2,299 ($334) for the 12GB/512GB variant. If you would like to purchase the highest-end model, you should pay CNY 2,599 ($377) for the 16GB/1TB model. The phone is available in Carbon Black, Xinghai Blue, and Ice Feather White color options.
