Xiaomi announced the Note 15 Pro series today, exclusively for the Chinese market. In a move that expanded the lineup alongside the Pro models, the Redmi Note 15 was officially unveiled. The new Note 15 boasts a durable build, balanced performance, and a slim design. Here are the specifications.
Redmi Note 15: Key Features
The Redmi Note 15 features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and a 2560Hz gaming response time. The display can reach 3200 nits of brightness, supports 12-bit color with the DCI-P3 color gamut, and also has TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification and high-frequency PWM dimming. The display also includes an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
The new Note 15 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, manufactured on a 4nm manufacturing process. An octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.4 GHz is paired with an Adreno GPU, delivering efficient performance for everyday tasks and mid-range gaming. The phone comes with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The Redmi Note 15 comes out of the box with HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. The updated software improves system smoothness, offers AI-powered optimizations, and continues Xiaomi’s focus on personalization and lightweight productivity.
On the camera front, the Note 15 features a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 400 main sensor. It also features a 2-megapixel depth sensor and can record 4K video at up to 30 fps. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera with portrait, night, and time-lapse modes.
The device features a 5800mAh Jinsajiang battery powered by the Surge G1 chip. It supports 45W PD fast charging and offers 18W reverse wired charging for accessories. It also has an IP66 dust and splash protection rating, is 7.35mm thick (7.4mm in Starlight White) and weighs 178 grams.
