Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 15R. The brand’s new model features a large battery with wired reverse charging. This battery can charge other phones as well as headphones.
What does the Redmi Note 15R offer?
The Redmi Note 15R features a 6.9-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This display reaches a peak brightness of 850 nits in high brightness mode. It also supports wet-hand touch input and offers a 288Hz touch sampling rate for smoother gaming responsiveness.
Powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor built on a 6nm fabrication process, the phone uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone weighs 217 grams and is 8.4 mm thick. It is IP64 certified for dust and water resistance. It’s also available in three different colors: Glacier White, Shadow Black, and Sand Purple.
The Redmi Note 15R features a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The phone’s key feature is its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. Xiaomi claims this battery will last up to five years. It also supports 33W wired charging and 18W wired reverse charging.
The Redmi Note 15R is available in three different configurations: the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at 1,499 yuan (approximately $210), the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at 1,899 yuan (approximately $265), and the top-of-the-line model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 2,199 yuan (approximately $305).
