Technology giant Google has released a new update that makes it easier to remove personal information from search results. Now you can request removal directly from Google Search and prevent your information from being spread. Here are the details…

Google has updated its “Results about you” tool, which makes it easier to remove personal information from search results. Now, users can track whether this information appears in search results by specifying their names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.

The tool, which was previously only accessible through the Google app, has now been integrated directly into the Google Search page. Users can use the three-dot menu next to the results to remove information from search results and click the “Remove this result” option.

This feature is currently available in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, France, Sweden, Thailand, India, and Indonesia. Google plans to expand it to more countries in the future.
