Resident Evil 9: Revenant Shadows will be the name of the next game in the series. According to Play Asia, the game will continue the series’ terrifying legacy with a new story, characters and the return of familiar faces. The game will be set in a vast and frightening world, full of new threats and mysteries. The game is rumored to be open-world, although no further details have been revealed yet.
Other games listed for PS5 include Resident Evil 5. According to the description, the game and the world have undergone incredible changes and new technologies have been developed in this version. This indicates that the game will not be a simple remaster.
PS5 versions are also listed for Code Veronica and Resident Evil 0. Resident Evil 0 is listed as an HD remaster, while it’s not yet clear if Code Veronica is a port or a remaster.
These listings seem to confirm rumors from previous weeks that Capcom is developing remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica. In a long series of posts by Dusk Golem on X, it was stated that Capcom’s main team is working on Code Veronica following the success of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, while the secondary studio is working on Resident Evil Zero.
