ROG Xbox Ally X sales surprise

Ana sayfa / News

ROG Xbox Ally X sales far exceeded expectations, and ASUS is ramping up production in response to the rapidly growing demand for handheld gaming devices. According to data from the company’s latest financial report, demand for the portable gaming device category has gained significant momentum. Following this development, ASUS has revised its sales expectations upward.

ASUS expects to generate revenue in the range of TWD 3 billion to 5 billion, or approximately $96 million to $160 million, from ROG Ally sales alone in the final quarter of the year.

Company management indicates that this figure could approach $130 million by the end of the quarter. Specifically, the $999 ROG Xbox Ally X, targeted at high-end gamers, has seen “much stronger than expected” demand, according to ASUS.

The ROG Xbox Ally X generated record demand, with stocks quickly depleting after its launch. As a result, ASUS has decided to increase production by working with its component suppliers. The company hasn’t yet released detailed sales figures, but in its latest quarterly assessment, it emphasized the successful performance of the category established with the first-generation ROG Ally. ASUS expects this momentum to continue and says that high demand will be more directly reflected in production volumes in the coming period.
