Rogbid has unveiled the Rowatch D3, a new health-focused smartwatch built around pressure-based blood pressure readings and Texas Instruments’ AFE4950 chip. Priced at $139.99, the D3 blends upgraded health tracking with familiar smartwatch features, positioning itself as a premium-but-accessible option in the wellness tech space.
Rogbid Rowatch D3 highlights pressure-based system for blood pressure
The standout feature of the Rogbid Rowatch D3 is its wrist-based BP system, which uses a sealed airbag and Murata piezoelectric micro-air pump. Unlike optical-only methods, this system physically inflates and deflates to apply real pressure during readings. Rogbid claims this allows for more consistent results through controlled airflow and reduced leakage.
Of course, real-world accuracy still depends heavily on wrist fit and how still the user remains during measurements. Movement and loose straps can easily throw off pressure-based readings, something no wristwatch has completely solved.
ECG and health readings powered by TI’s AFE4950 chip
Another key feature is the integration of Texas Instruments’ AFE4950 chip, which combines single-lead ECG with synchronized PPG. The Rowatch D3 uses conductive glass and multiple frame electrodes to capture heart signals, with Rogbid touting millisecond-level precision. Skin contact and wrist position, though, still play a role in real-world consistency.
The D3 also supports:
- Heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring
- Skin temperature tracking
- Quick “Mini Health Check” that compiles HR, BP, SpO₂, temp, and stress in ~30 seconds
AMOLED display, standard smartwatch features, and good battery life
The Rogbid Rowatch D3 sports a 1.56-inch AMOLED screen (480×480), paired with a rotating crown and a dedicated ECG contact zone. It supports Android 8.0+ and iOS 13+, and brings typical features like sleep tracking, sport modes, NFC access (in select regions), and Bluetooth 5.3.
Battery life is another strong point—Rogbid rates the 400mAh cell for up to 15 days of standby. Strap choices include silicone and leather, available in five color variants.
Strong launch value with bonus gear
As a launch bonus, customers purchasing from Rogbid’s official store get a free set of earbuds valued at $29.99. That extra sweetener, combined with the under-$150 price tag, makes the D3 a competitive option for users who care more about health features than smart app ecosystems.
