Ana sayfa / News

NVIDIA is slowly shutting down production of the RTX 40 series of GPUs, which have been a big hit with gamers. According to a reliable source in China called Board Channels, NVIDIA is preparing to shut down the production lines of this series to make room for the RTX 50 series, which is expected to be unveiled at CES 2025. Here are the details

According to the latest news, production of high-performance graphics cards such as the RTX 4090 and 4080 has completely ended. However, the AD107 chip, the lowest-power GPU in the lineup, is still in production and is used in the RTX 4050 laptop and RTX 4060 desktop models. However, this production line will also be shut down shortly.

In fact, we’ve been waiting for the day when we would say goodbye to the RTX 40 series, and NVIDIA is now focusing on the next-generation RTX 50 series, clearly showing that it wants to move forward rapidly in technological innovations. The RTX 50 series is planned to be released with RTX 5090, RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 models in the first stage.

Nvidia once again unseats Intel!

NVIDIA is expected to further increase the performance of the new GPUs, while also making improvements in power consumption. We can expect smoother performance, especially in AI-powered functions and high-resolution games. Of course, this doesn’t mean that RTX 40 series GPUs will be discontinued immediately.

NVIDIA’s existing stocks will be on the market for a while longer to meet user demand. In particular, models like the RTX 4060 are expected to remain a mid-range option until the next generation of cards are fully released. However, for users looking for high performance, the innovations that the RTX 50 series will offer are eagerly awaited.
