Rtx 5060 Ti early benchmarks show limited gains over last-gen cards

Ana sayfa / News

The first performance benchmarks for the RTX 5060 Ti have emerged, and the results are underwhelming. According to early tests, Nvidia’s upcoming mid-range GPU doesn’t offer a dramatic leap over its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti. While power efficiency has improved, raw performance remains relatively flat in many titles, leaving enthusiasts questioning the upgrade value.

Benchmark figures from sources in China suggest a performance gain of around 10–15% compared to the RTX 4060 Ti. In ray tracing heavy games, the uplift is slightly more noticeable, but still far from game-changing. For most titles running at 1080p or 1440p, frame rate improvements are marginal at best.

AMD RDNA 4 graphics architecture introduced!

AMD has achieved a major transformation in graphics cards with the RDNA 4 graphics architecture. So what does it offer?

The card reportedly uses a cut-down version of the AD106 GPU, paired with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Clock speeds are slightly higher than the previous model, but not significantly so. While Nvidia has shifted some components for efficiency, core counts and memory bandwidth remain similar.

One of the more noticeable improvements comes from reduced power consumption. Tests show that the 5060 Ti draws less wattage under load than the 4060 Ti. Thermals are also slightly better, making it a cooler, quieter option for smaller builds or low-noise environments.

If the RTX 5060 Ti arrives at a similar price to the 4060 Ti, reception could be lukewarm. Consumers often expect noticeable gains between generations. Without a substantial performance bump, Nvidia may face pushback from users who feel that last-gen cards still offer better value.

As of now, Nvidia hasn’t officially announced a launch date. However, with benchmarks already leaking, a reveal seems imminent. How Nvidia frames the card—whether as a budget-friendly upgrade or a more efficient alternative—will shape how the community responds.
