The Russian Organization also said in March that it could fine Google 8 million rubles (about $94,675 at the time) to 20% of Google’s annual turnover. The reason for these sanctions was ‘illegal’ YouTube videos. Russia also fined Google for news of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine the last December.
