Samsung has launched its new 1TB capacity Pro Plus and Evo Select microSD card models. Offering a great solution especially for users who need high storage capacity, the cards are compatible with devices such as Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch and smartphones.

Samsung’s new 1TB capacity microSD cards come in Pro Plus and Evo Select models. These cards are designed to meet the needs of users with high-speed data transfer and large storage capacity. The Pro Plus model offers a higher performance with 180MB/s write speed, while the Evo Select model is impressive with 160MB/s write speed.
Samsung’s 1TB microSD cards have a U3 (Ultra-High Speed Class 3) rating. This means the cards are fast enough for 4K video recording and reading. Compatible with devices such as Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, these cards are especially ideal for gamers and high-definition video shooters.
The new 1TB Evo Select microSD card is available as a launch special for $90 (regular price $100). The Pro Plus model is available for $120. Both models are available from Amazon and Samsung’s online store. Currently, the Evo Select model is sold out on Amazon, but when ordered, it will ship as soon as it’s in stock.
New 1TB microSD cards stand out in terms of price and performance when compared to cards from other brands available on the market. For example, SanDisk’s 1TB Ultra is similar in price and performance to Samsung’s Evo Select card. However, Samsung’s Pro Plus card offers higher performance but comes at a slightly higher price.
