Samsung has been intensifying competition in the foldable smartphone market in recent years, but due to their high price tags, they still cater mainly to high-end users. However, the company may be looking to add budget-friendly versions of its next-generation foldable models. Two new Samsung affordable foldable devices, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE, have surfaced.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE leaked
According to posts on social media, Samsung is investing more in budget-friendly foldable phones to appeal to a wider audience. Some technical specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE, slated for release this year, have been leaked.
It’s rumored that both the Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Additionally, it’s been suggested that the Fold FE may also be available in some markets with an Exynos-based version like the Exynos 2200.
Leaked specs indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold FE may come with 12GB and 16GB RAM options, while the Flip variant may have 8GB and 12GB RAM. Both foldable devices are expected to offer storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold FE are rumored to be 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2-15.8mm when folded and 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3mm when unfolded. The Galaxy Z Flip FE, on the other hand, is said to measure 84.9 x 71.9 x 15.9-171mm when folded and 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9mm when unfolded.
It’s worth noting that Samsung has not made any official statements about its affordable foldable phones, and the release dates remain uncertain.
