Apple plans to bring major innovations to its small-screen smartphone lineup with the iPhone SE 4. However, it was stated that Samsung, the company’s main screen supplier, withdrew from the negotiations. The technology giant reportedly does not want to produce screens for the iPhone SE 4.

Samsung Display had offered $30 per unit for the iPhone SE 4 display. However, this figure was higher than Apple’s budget of $20 per unit. When the two companies could not find a middle ground, Samsung left the negotiations.

Apple then signed an agreement with Chinese display manufacturer BOE to supply the displays for the iPhone SE 4. BOE and Taiwanese manufacturer Tianma reportedly offered $25 and $30 per unit, respectively. However, Samsung Display failed to meet Apple’s strict price requirements.

Amazon Kindle gets involved in an artificial intelligence scandal!

According to the latest information, the beloved Amazon product Kindle has come under scrutiny for advertising books generated by AI.

BOE managed to undercut the prices of both Samsung and Tianma by agreeing to supply displays for $25 per unit. While still above Apple’s initial offer, the iPhone SE 4 is still within budget.

According to the claims put forward by various sources so far, the iPhone SE 4 model will be similar to the iPhone 14 released in 2022. Accordingly, the smartphone will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display.

Supported by a 60 Hz refresh rate, this screen will also include Dynamic Island technology, which entered our lives with the iPhone 14 Pro series.
