Here are the details.

Repair your Galaxy on your own

The companies have launched self-repair programs allowing users to repair their devices. Some of the biggest technology brands like Google and Apple have started their self-repair service options for their customers. Thanks to this service, people could purchase a kit that lets them repair the phone, with genuine parts, manuals, and tools to repair their products.

The kits will have a limited number of repair parts for certain Galaxy devices. It includes replacing display assemblies, back glass, and charging ports. The prices of these kits will depend on the device’s repair parts you will order. When you buy a kit, you will have step-by-step repair guides and handy tools, such as precision bits, suction handle, magnetized driver, opening tool, spudger, and ESD-safe tweezers.

People will be able to send back the used and broken parts of devices to Samsung for recycling. iFixit says on its website, “Working together with Samsung; we are making it easier for Galaxy owners to take product repair into your own hands.” Samsung’s partnership with iFixit allows people to prolong the use of their devices, promote a circular economy and minimize e-waste.
