Ana sayfa / News

Samsung continues to expand its product line aimed at gamers. The company has introduced the new model in its Odyssey series, the G7 G75F, a 37-inch curved monitor with 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The new model is listed on Samsung’s Malaysia website but is not yet available for global sale. The device, which stands out with its large 16:9 screen with a 1000R curve, boasts one of the largest displays in its segment. The monitor directly competes with Asus’ ROG Swift PG38UQ.

The Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F offers a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution display equipped with VA panel technology. With 350 nits of brightness, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms (GtG) response time, it caters to gamers seeking high performance.

In terms of image quality, HDR10+ support provides wide color support covering 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut and 90 percent of DCI-P3. VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification also certifies the device’s compatibility with HDR content.

The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro but is not officially certified for Nvidia G-Sync. Connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports. There is no DP 2.1 or USB-C connection. The monitor does not have built-in speakers. The software-based Auto Source Switch+ feature allows the device to automatically detect and switch to the active signal.

The physical stand only offers height adjustment. Pivot and tilt adjustments are not supported. However, the RGB lighting, common in the Odyssey series, is also present on this model and can be customized through software.

The Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F is priced at $1,038. There’s no official announcement yet on when the product will arrive in other markets. This new model offers a compelling alternative for gamers who want a larger screen but prefer the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio over ultrawide.
