Samsung, which is counting down for the One UI 8 update, is also making sure to include patches that enhance user security. The brand recently released the August 2025 update for three of its models.
August 2025 update released for the Galaxy S25 series
The latest Samsung models to receive the August 2025 update are the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The new patch is currently available in South Korea and will be available in more regions in the coming days. It’s also 546MB in size.
If the update notification hasn’t automatically arrived on your device, you can manually upgrade your phone/tablet to the new version by following Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If you still can’t find the update after following these steps, you may need to wait a bit longer, as the patch may not have arrived in your region yet.
