Samsung continues to release Google’s monthly security updates aimed at keeping Android phones and tablets secure. As usual, in April, Samsung began rolling out the Android April 2024 security update for Galaxy devices. Since the beginning of April, many phones and tablets have received the update, and now it has been released for two more models. Here are the details of the Samsung April 2024 update:
Samsung has released the April 2024 security update for Galaxy A34 and A54
This month’s security update does not bring new features to Samsung Galaxy devices. According to the update notes released by Google and Samsung, the April 2024 security patch includes a total of 44 security vulnerability fixes, with 27 identified as critical or high-risk. Samsung has contributed an additional 17 fixes, bringing the total number of security patches to 44.
Additionally, the April 2024 Google Play System Update, released by Google a few days ago, has now started rolling out to Samsung devices. Although there isn’t a complete list yet, it has been revealed that the update has been released for the Galaxy S24 series. While not many details are provided about the update, there is mention of a change in the Google Phone app stating, “With this new feature, you’ll be able to connect with your contacts right after setting up your new phone.”
The April 2024 security update has been released for the Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A34 model received the update with software version A346EXXS6BXD9, and the Galaxy A54 model received it with software version A546EXXS7BXD1. The update is currently available for download in Turkey for the A34 model, and it is expected to be released for the A54 model within a few days.
