Samsung has started offering free screen replacements for the vertical line issue!

With the update it released, Samsung aimed to improve system stability, but it didn’t turn out that way. Many users who installed the new version started complaining about a vertical line appearing on the screen in green/pink/blue colors. Later on, it was learned that the issue only occurred on panels produced by Samsung.

Despite users’ reports, Samsung did not provide any support regarding this matter. Moreover, many people stated that the brand requested a fee for screen replacement to solve the problem.

According to information emerging today, Samsung is developing its own Large Language Model (LLM)-based AI.

However, today a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user mentioned that despite the warranty period of the phone being expired, they received free screen and battery replacement to resolve the issue at a Samsung service center. It seems that the brand has officially acknowledged this problem.

It is expected that Samsung will provide free replacements for all Galaxy smartphones experiencing this software and panel-related issue. An announcement regarding this matter may be made in the near future.
