While the tech giant is hard at work on the Galaxy S25 series and preparing to unveil it in the early months of the new year, Samsung is also planning to introduce many more phones and tablets. Before the end of 2024, the company is expected to add several devices to its lineup, including the highly anticipated Galaxy A16, part of the popular A series. Now, the render images of the upcoming Galaxy A16 have been leaked. Here are the details…
Galaxy A16 to Continue Familiar Design
Samsung tends to stick with a design once it resonates with its audience. For example, after receiving negative feedback on the sharp design of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the company will opt for curved edges on the S25 Ultra. The A series will also continue with its familiar design, as shown in the Galaxy A16 render images.
Expected to launch by the end of the year as the successor to the Galaxy A15, the Galaxy A16 will feature a triple-camera setup and flash on the back, which we’ve seen in previous models. The right side of the device includes a volume control button and a power button, while the left side houses the SIM card and memory card slot.
The front display will feature the same Infinity-U notch, curved edges, flat design, and smooth back panel found in the Galaxy A15. The render shows the phone in a refreshing turquoise color.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A16 is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 6300+ processor. It will come in three different RAM options: 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. The device will run Android 14 and sport a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP camera. It will also feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
