Ana sayfa / News

Samsung‘s highly popular A-series is gaining a new member: the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G. After a period of silence, the model’s technical details have finally surfaced through leaked Geekbench test results. Samsung’s decision to opt for a Qualcomm chipset instead of its in-house Exynos for this specific model has captured the attention of the tech world.

Samsung Galaxy A27 5G: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Power

Spotted in the Geekbench 6.6.0 database under the model number SM-A276B, the Galaxy A27 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. This processor features an octa-core architecture consisting of four performance cores clocked at 2.40 GHz and four efficiency cores at 1.80 GHz. The Adreno 710 GPU handles the graphical tasks.

According to the benchmark scores, the device achieved:

These figures suggest that the Galaxy A27 offers a performance profile similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A26 (powered by the Exynos 1380), but with improved efficiency. Manufactured on a 4nm process, this chipset is expected to satisfy users in terms of thermal management and battery longevity.

Android 16 and One UI 8.5 Experience

One of the most exciting aspects of the leak is on the software front. The tested unit was running Android 16, a strong signal that the device may ship with Samsung’s latest One UI 8.5 interface out of the box. While the leaked model features 6 GB of RAM, it is widely expected that Samsung will also offer an 8 GB RAM variant at launch.

Design and Expected Specifications

While official renders have yet to be shared, leaks point to the following hardware suite:

Industry insiders suggest Samsung is balancing optimized hardware costs with long-term software support for this model. The Galaxy A27 5G is expected to be available in global markets around July 2026. Do you think the switch to Snapdragon in the A27 series is a better move than staying with Exynos?
