Samsung Galaxy C55 comes with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor
Looking back, we can see that the last device in the manufacturer’s C series was released seven years ago. Now, more details are beginning to emerge about the phone, which has allegedly been in development for a long time. According to reports, the Galaxy C55 will be introduced as an alternative option like the Galaxy M55 and F55, and it will be the third phone to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which is older than the Exynos 1480 processor, is an 8-core processor with a configuration of 1x 2.4GHz ARM Cortex-A710, 3x 2.36GHz ARM Cortex-A710, and 4x 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, along with an Adreno 662 graphics unit, all built on a 4nm architecture. The use of this lower-performing processor compared to the Exynos 1480 found in the Galaxy A55 suggests that the Galaxy C55, Galaxy F55, and M55 may not come with the option of 12GB of memory.
Samsung’s anticipated device, the Galaxy C55, which has been under development for a long time, reportedly appeared on the Google Play console about a week ago, and it is expected to be released as a rebranded phone. Especially targeting the Chinese market, the launch and sale date of this phone have not been confirmed yet.
