Samsung is trying to keep its throne of the Android smartphone market. The South Korean company launched the Galaxy S23 series in February, and now it is preparing to add a new phone to the lineup. Although we already received leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the release date and specs have been revealed recently. Here are the details about the release date and specs of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE…
Galaxy S23 FE to be powered by an Exynos chip
While rumors are saying that Samsung will not launch a Galaxy S Fan Edition for the second time, the leaks show that the company is preparing to announce a new S23 FE phone. According to the latest rumors, the tech giant will launch the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE with an Exynos 2200 chip, which was available in the Galaxy S22 series in Europe.
The Exynos 2200 was Samsung’s first chip that features an AMD GPU. However, the company preferred Qualcomm’s modified Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset because 2200 was not such successful. Samsung will likely launch the new Galaxy S23 Fan Edition version with the Exynos 2200 processor in all markets, including Europe and the US.
On the other side, the S23 FE will probably feature 128GB and 256GB storage, and 6GB or 8GB of RAM options. In terms of battery, the phone will have a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, but also it could be 45W charging. The device will have model number SM-S711x, which is available on flagship devices.
According to the expectations, the South Korean company will announce the new S23 FE model sometime in the fourth quarter of 2023. Of course, these are only rumors, and we need to wait for the official announcement.
