Samsung has released a major camera update for its Galaxy S23 series in its home country, South Korea, last week. Now, this version is available to users in Europe. Here are the details.
Big camera update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series!
The camera update shared for the Galaxy S23 series changes the settings to speed up the auto-focusing algorithm and fixes issues such as face recognition, Night Mode, and green lines that appear in some images. Additionally, it offers options for users who prefer to take photos after adjusting the settings in the camera assistant.
The focusing concept has been changed to increase the speed of taking photos, and now, even if the focus is not perfectly aligned, the photo can be taken immediately when the user presses the shooting button. However, those who want to take a shot after the focus is completed can change the settings in the latest Camera Assistant to do so.
The update also makes adjustments for taking sharper and shake-free videos with the Ultrawide lens in low-light environments after the “Super Steady” feature is turned on. It also adds a function to immediately delete photos being processed in the gallery.
In Camera Video Mode, the update improves image stabilization when shooting in FHD60 with Auto FPS off for rear camera video shooting, as well as the intermittent green lines that appear on the left side when shooting in photo mode with the rear camera.
Additionally, it improves the banding noise in strip shape in low and medium light when shooting with high pixel resolution in the sky and optimizes the overall sharpness when shooting with high pixel resolution, eliminating intermittent blurring with OIS stabilization.
The update fixes the problem of disruption during shooting when the shooting speed > high resolution > speed priority is selected when shooting in low light after Night Mode. Finally, it also makes adjustments for users who experience face recognition problems at the end of third-party video calls and enhances the stability of camera operations in many other ways.
