New details about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and its camera features have emerged. According to the latest reports, the device will offer flagship-level features; Galaxy S24 will use the same main camera sensor as the S23 and S23 FE models.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE camera features leaked
The report from China claims that the S24 FE will feature a 1/1.57-inch sensor and a 50 Megapixel main camera with a 1.0um pixel size. The 1.0um pixel size will allow it to take high quality photos in low light conditions.
We know that Samsung uses the same camera modules in its intermediate devices to reduce costs. So it makes sense that the Galaxy S24 sensor would be recycled and placed in the S24 FE. The front camera is also expected to be 10 Megapixels.
Other leaked details include the model number SM-S721. It is also known that the Galaxy S23 FE has the nickname R11 within the company, so the S24 FE is being developed under the code name R12. S24 FE is still in the development phase, so it is likely to be introduced in the fall at the earliest.
As a reminder; Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which featured Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, came with a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Full HD+ resolution. Featuring a 10 Megapixel selfie camera, the smartphone had a 50 Megapixel + 12 Megapixel ultra wide angle + 8 Megapixel telephoto camera on the back.
