Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC only
At the Unpacked event in San Jose, California, Samsung launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. One of the most significant specifications of the new Ultra model is its chipset. Compared to other S24 models, the Ultra version is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset only.
While the chipset has 1×3,3 GHz Cortex-X4, 5×3,2 GHz Cortex-A720, and 2×2,3 GHz Cortex-A520 CPU cores, the phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options. On the display side, the Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X (1440×3088 pixels) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 3 protection.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy S24 Ultra gets an important upgrade. The phone has a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back, while it has a 12-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Also, it comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging support.
Samsung’s newest smartphone is available in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. If you would like to purchase the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it has a starting price of $1,399, and you can pre-order the phone starting today until January 30, 2024.
