Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Series Leaked

Ana sayfa / News

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series is heating up, with a fresh leak indicating that the new smartwatches are about to break cover. Android Police has reported that both the Galaxy Watch 7 and a cheaper Galaxy Watch FE variant have appeared at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) in the US, a crucial regulatory step for any gadget slated for US release.

According to the FCC filings, we can expect four Galaxy Watch 7 variations: two sporting a 40mm case size (one with LTE and one with Wi-Fi only), and two with a 44mm case size (again, one LTE and one Wi-Fi). The filings also reveal a model number likely belonging to the rumored Galaxy Watch FE, although it might be marketed under a different name. Interestingly, there’s no indication of a premium Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Pro model in the documents.

The Rumor Mill Continues to Churn

Previous leaks have hinted at successors to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, but the exact number of models for 2024 remained unclear.

Multiple rumors have suggested three smartwatch versions: a standard, a Classic, and a Pro model. These whispers also promise significant battery life improvements and a potential redesign to revamp the wearables’ aesthetic.

A Pro model would make sense for Samsung, particularly if they are aiming to take on established players like Garmin’s top smartwatches and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. However, the absence of a Pro model in the FCC filings is intriguing.

The Unpacked Event: A Date with Destiny

If the rumored date for Samsung’s next Unpacked event is accurate, all will be revealed on July 10. Alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series, we anticipate the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Ring, and the Galaxy Buds 3.
