Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 Coming

Ana sayfa / News

Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, the successor to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which was first released in July 2024. According to a new report from GalaxyClub.nl, this device will bring the anticipated generational leap to the Ultra series. Here are the first details about the Watch Ultra 2.

According to the source, Samsung is developing the new Ultra model alongside the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9. This pairing suggests that, just as the first Galaxy Watch Ultra was based on the Watch 7 platform, the Ultra 2 will follow the hardware direction of the Watch 9.

The device is said to carry the “Watch 9 Ultra” identifier internally. However, based on past experience, Samsung is expected to maintain the established naming structure for this high-end smartwatch at retail, launching it as the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

The development schedule follows Samsung’s typical smartwatch cycle, which has historically coincided with major mid-year launches. If this pattern continues, both the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 could be unveiled around July 2026. This window would overlap with the expected release of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, allowing Samsung to create a unified product lineup at its summer event.

Samsung only released a Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) version this year with a refined look compared to the original model. This raises the prospect of a more significant generational upgrade in 2026, given the larger batteries and durability-focused features offered by previous Ultra versions.
